A conveyor belt feeds the containers to the machine. Here, they are first selected and spaced by one or two screws, then transferred to a starwheel that transfers them onto the main carousel. On the carousel, containers are secured and centered by self-centering plates and heads.
Each plate is equipped with a servo motor that allows precise, programmable rotation and orientation of the container for a hassle-free handling.
Different labeling heads (self-adhesive, linerless, glue, etc.) apply labels with accuracy, whether on flat, curved, or irregular surfaces.
At the end of the process, a wiping system combined with the programmed container rotation finalizes label application, ensuring a smooth and seamless result, even on challenging surfaces.
Thanks to their modular structure, electronic control of the plates, and a high-precision centering system, rotary labelers adapt easily to containers of all types and sizes, including asymmetric or oddly-shaped ones.
Main advantages of rotary labeling machines
Our rotary labelers offer high performances in terms of speed, flexibility, and precision, thus being the ideal solution for high-speed production lines. Thanks to their ability to fully control the product over the entire cycle, even the most complex labeling configurations can be achieved, including containers with irregular surfaces or asymmetric shapes.
The modular structure ensures fast adaptation to different formats and materials, simplifying format changes and increasing operational versatility.
Their technology also allows to reach a speed of over 1,000 pieces per minute while maintaining consistent label application quality. Intuitive HMIs make it easy to set parameters, monitor quality, manage alarms, and run operational diagnostics.
To top the machine’s technology, integrated vision systems ensure great control and traceability during production.
Optional systems
Our labelers can be equipped with:
• Product orientation systems: mechanical, sensor- or camera-based, to align label positioning to a selected element such as a graphic feature, an engraving or the cap’s position.
• Data printing systems: laser, inkjet, thermal transfer, or hot foil.
• Quality control cameras, connected to various reject systems to automatically discard non-compliant products.
